Avignon’s coach station, Gare Routière, is the end-point for buses from across Europe and the UK. Bus services for the public in Avignon cover most part of the city if you want to get anywhere outside the centre. If you are driving to Avignon from Paris, catch the A6 south to Lyon and then the A7 south to Avignon. You are allowed to drive if you are over 21 years old and hold a valid international driving license.
