There are several ways of getting from London to Paris. Eurostar, of course, offers the fastest and most hassle-free way of getting there. But in case you are not up for a train journey, there are a number of other options for making the trip. Each of these options have their own advantages and disadvantages, although with Eurostar the good far outweighs the bad.Eurostar

- Convenient – Travel directly from central London to the heart of Paris
- Comfortable – Extremely comfortable trains that travel through a scenic countryside
- Can be expensive, if you buy your tickets close to the journey date

- Fast – London to Paris flights take very little time
- Cheap – Several airlines offer cheap air tickets
- Hassle – Even though the flight does not take time, you still have to get to/from the airport and this will take additional time and money, not to mention the hassle. You will also have to check-in well in advance.
- At the end of the day, you may find that flying ends up costing as much as a Eurostar ticket, owing to all the ‘hidden costs’ and also takes more time overall, if you consider the local commute and all the waiting.

- You can take a lot of baggage with you and even take your car
- Long and tedious journey that takes about 9 hours and requires you to change several times
- Tickets can be expensive – you will also have to pay for transport from London to Dover and Calais to Paris.

- Cheap – The most inexpensive way of getting from London to Paris
- Availability – There are lots of buses available to take you from London to Paris
- Very long journey, taking about 9 hours

- You have the convenience of having your own transport throughout the tour
- Long journey that can take between 7 and 9 hours
- Expensive – You will have to pay for passage through the channel tunnel or on the ferry both ways
